We spent today clearing backlogs and activating dormant patches.
The album should be finished mid-June and we hope to have it released by end of July - yes, 2007. This painting by Maria Hayes will be the cover. The painting’s title is The Reckoning. Our album will be called Spring Always Comes.
Although Pete has recorded some tracks, we’ve decided to leave these until the third album, and have adopted a more minimal approach for this one - more in keeping with what we do live with various combinations of Cass Meurig, John Lawrence and Owen Lloyd-Evans. Joining the five of us will be two of Wales’ most interesting harpists: Llio Rhydderch and Rhodri Davies. And to complete our ‘minimalist’ line up, Alun Tan Lan will be playing banjo and there may even be some clarinet from Edwin Humphreys.
