‘Dark Feet and Dark Wings’ led by/gweithdy gyda Victoria Field

American poet, Wendell Berry has written: ‘To know the dark, go dark./Go without sight, and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,/and is travelled by dark feet and dark wings …’

As the days shorten and we enter the darkest period of the year, this workshop will explore images of winter and darkness.  We will look at myths such as that of Persephone, and do some close reading of poems and prose, and write in response.

Wrth i’r dyddiau fyrhau, a symudwn ninnau tuag at gyfnod tywyllaf y flwyddyn, archwiliwn ddelweddau o aeaf a thywyllwch. Edrychwn ar fythau, fel un Persephone; darllenwn gerddi a rhyddiaith, a chawn ymateb drwy ysgrifennu.

It is open to all with an interest.  No creative writing experience is necessary.  Please bring a notebook and something to write with.
